Locally made here in Arizona, the Aric Mei Design knife block allows users the flexibility to accommodate knives of all widths (up to 12") with out the restrictions of individual slots. They also allow visibility of the knife blades so they are showcased and easier to identify (These blocks are not recoomended for kives with slanted bolsters)
