The Masahiro Bessen series is Masahiro’s entry level traditional series, it features a yellow carbon steel blade, and a D-shaped Magnolia wood handle with a resin bolster. Carbon steel is not stain resistant and should be kept dry as possible and oiled when not in use. This is a cost effective way to experience Masahiro steel.
